Drink and Drive Policy

Introduction
The safety of our employees, drivers, customers, and the public is our highest priority.
We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy against driving under the influence of alcohol,
drugs, or any intoxicating substances while performing company-related duties.
Policy Statement
All drivers, employees, contractors, and personnel operating company vehicles or performing
transportation-related duties must remain free from the influence of alcohol or drugs during working hours.
Prohibited Conduct
- Consuming alcohol or intoxicating substances during duty hours.
- Reporting to work under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Possessing or storing alcohol or illegal substances inside company vehicles or premises.
- Driving company vehicles after consuming alcohol.
- Refusing alcohol or substance testing when requested by management or authorities.
Employee Responsibilities
- Reporting fit for duty at all times.
- Following all road safety and traffic regulations.
- Informing management if prescribed medication may affect driving ability.
- Cooperating with safety inspections and testing procedures.
Testing & Monitoring
- Random alcohol testing
- Post-accident testing
- Reasonable suspicion testing
Penalties & Disciplinary Action
Any employee or driver found driving under the influence of alcohol may face:
- Company disciplinary action including suspension, termination, or permanent loss of employment.
- A fine up to ₹10,000 and/or imprisonment up to 6 months as per applicable Motor Vehicle laws.
- Legal action and recovery of damages caused due to negligence or accidents.
Drink and Drive is a serious violation that may result in permanent job loss, legal penalties, and imprisonment.
Legal Compliance
Employees must comply with all applicable Motor Vehicle and Road Safety laws enforced by government authorities.
